Tic-Tac-Go: The Uber Ride That Turned Into a Tourette’s Fiesta!

What happens when a person with Tourette's picks up another person with Tourette's?

This video might just be the funniest and most wholesome thing on the internet right now!

An Uber driver shared dashcam footage of a ride that was anything but typical—in the best way possible. Most people probably expect a horror story, but this one is pure gold. The driver has Tourette’s, and, as luck would have it, so did her passenger!

At first, everything seems normal as they chat away, just like any other Uber ride. But then, the driver has a tic, and before you know it, the passenger has one too. They lock eyes, both clearly thinking, “Did we just become best buds?”

"OH MY GOD, do you have Tourette’s too?" asks the passenger, who looks like a friendly Santa Claus enjoying his off-season, grey beard and all.

Before she can even answer, the guy excitedly shouts, "YES!" like he’s won the lottery. Cue uncontrollable shared laughter. Their common Tourette's tics set off a full minute of non-stop giggling, which only makes their tics flare up even more. It’s chaos, but the most heartwarming kind.

For the next few minutes, they try to talk, but between the tics and the laughter, it’s a hilarious struggle. It’s like a comedy show and a buddy movie wrapped into one, with the perfect mix of awkwardness and joy.

After catching their breath, the driver tells her passenger how happy she is that he has such a good attitude about Tourette’s. You can tell she’s relieved to meet someone who understands exactly what she’s going through. And our Santa look-alike? He’s all in.

“I just think life is too short to be serious,” he says, dropping some feel-good wisdom like a true holiday hero.

The whole thing is funny, sweet, and the kind of wholesome content we all need more of. Let’s just hope these two exchanged numbers and became lifelong friends after that ride!
