One of the most bizarre Olympic occurrences of all time was when the Mongolian Wrestling Coaches decided to take all of their clothes off in protest to the 65-kilogram bronze medal match at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
So why did the coach Mongolian wrestling coaches Tserenbaatar Tsogbayar and Byambarinchen Bayaraa take all of their clothes off you ask?
Well the Mongolian wrestler Mandakhnaran Ganzorig was winning against Uzbekistan’s Ikhtiyor Navruzov but he began celebrating prematurely when he thought he had won and he left the match a little too early in his excitement. Unfortunately for him, this cost him a point and the judges also added a point to the Uzbekistan wrestlers score which effectively meant that the Mongolian wrestler lost the bronze medal that he had just earned!
The Mongolian coaches were non too pleased with this outcome and began stripping in protest. In Mongolia, stripping is a form of peaceful protest that is widely accepted.

So what happened to these stripping Mongolian coaches? They both earned themselves a 3 year ban from United World Wrestling.
