Camel thinks he is a horse

When Josee first spotted a camel for sale, she was convinced it had to be a scam. A camel? Around here? No way. But as it turned out, Shamy was very real, and he was about to shake things up in the best way possible.

Shamy wasn’t content with just blending in—he had a mission. From the moment he set foot (hoof?) on the farm, he decided that the horses were going to be his new best friends. The horses, however, weren’t so sure about this lanky, hump-backed newcomer. They gave him side-eyes and kept their distance, probably wondering if he had wandered in from a very different reality. But Shamy had patience, charm, and a surprising amount of speed.

Rather than waiting to be accepted, he simply joined the herd. He ran alongside them, played their games, and slowly but surely, won them over. Before long, the horses gave in to his goofy persistence, and Shamy officially became part of the family.

But he wasn’t just a friendly addition—he quickly became the farm’s most mischievous troublemaker. Shamy, it turns out, is something of an escape artist. Whenever the horses and llamas seemed a little too settled, he took it upon himself to lead the great breakout, liberating his friends for impromptu romps around the farm. If fences had eyes, they’d roll every time Shamy strutted up with that all-too-knowing look. Watch below.

Now, he’s living his best life, running with his unlikely crew, planning his next great adventure, and proving that family isn’t about looking alike—it’s about sticking together. Shamy may have started as the odd one out, but today, he’s the heart (and the hump) of the herd.

So if you ever see a camel galloping alongside a pack of horses like it’s the most normal thing in the world, don’t question it. That’s just Shamy, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
